After a loooong car ride (and being pulled aside and searched at the border…) we finally made it to our destination: beautiful Vancouver B.C. I am one of 14 students on a week-long class that has journied to Canada to take part in a rigorous and intense photography class.
Today we spent getting settled into our rooms at the University of British Columbia and taking a quick tour of the campus. As I have already gone on this trip last summer I was fortunate enough no be able to take a quick nap while the rest of the class took in the sights.
Tonight we’ll have our first critic with our portfolio that we brought with us. Hopefully it won’t take three hours like last year…
Tomorrow will be our first full day out shooting; some time in the evening I’ll be able to throw together a few pictures for display.
